  Came in today and found the place to be empty. My husband bought a Groupon so we decided to come in today and take use of it. The salad bar is very limited and they have like two options of rice and beans, potatoes and sauce.
  
  The server brought us water along with sweet plantains and mash potatoes. We didn't order this so I guess it's normal to bring these two side dishes to each table.
  
  We had the bacon wrapped chicken, sausage, churrasco, and lamb. All the meats were well seasoned and tasted good. I have no complaints in this department. They were quick to bring the meats out and continuously came to the table with different variety.

  Let me start with this, Food was good but it was by far the worst dining experience I've had. We got there about 930 pm and ordered our food which was the all you can eat buffet, little did we know that there was going to be a singing practice happening in less than 5 minutes ! As soon as we started eating 2 ladies started singing of the top of their lungs with microphones so loud that it made it impossible for us to even hear the waiter talking!
  This went on for as long as we were there, I was sitting across my husband but in order to talk to him on our vacation we had to text each other!!
  Eventually we had to leave at 10 since I'm prone to migraine headaches and I was getting one because of the screaming.

  This place was great! I went here with a groupon with a couple of friends and was really impressed and I believe the quality of the meat used was also pretty good! They also have quite a variety and to be honest I liked that it wasn't so crowded that way I felt like I never missed out on any meat selections when they were making their rounds. The side / salad bar was a little underwhelming but I am at a steakhouse to eat meat and not worry so much about sides.
  
  I think the only downfall this place has is sometimes getting the waitresses attention was very difficult. But other than that I would totally but a Groupon for this place again!

  We had dinner at Porto Alegre on Thursday 10/3/19. My wife had bought a Groupon before reading the reviews. After reading the reviews were reluctant to go, but we decided to give it a try. So the restaurant itself is nice. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The restrooms were very clean. The salad bar was small, but well appointed. All the food we selected was good. When we arrived and told the host that we had a Groupon we were advised that had access to everything but lamb. I'm not sure if that was in the fine print of the Groupon, but the let us know up front. The meats that were brought to the table were well seasoned and tasty. The alcoholic drinks were a pit pricey, but not ridiculous. We enjoyed our meal and would visit the restaurant again.
  So there were a lot of negative reviews. I think its probably a perception issue. If you are expecting Texas de Brazil you are going to be disappointed. If you are expecting a Brazilian restaurant you may be disappointed. It is a "Brazilian style" restaurant, but a lot of the food reminds me of Cuban cuisine. If you go with an open mind I believe that you will enjoy this restaurant.

  Best service, food, and cocktails, the service was unbelievable I hardly recommend it
